Receive an update on current efforts to increase funding for education and provide input on how the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) affects your school district. Carolyn Chu from the Legislative Analyst's Office will present on the Governor's budget proposal for funding education.
California State Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla is Chair of the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Education Finance overseeing education funding for higher education, K-12 education and early childhood education programs. She also chairs the "Assembly Select Committee on Increasing the Integration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in Education in California K-14 Schools."
